Eminem

 Eminem / Slim Shady was born as Marshall Bruce MathersIII on October 17th 1972. When he was 14 he was in a group called Soul Intent under the pen name, “M&M”.

He has won an Oscar and multiple Grammy Awards.

Eminem is one the highest selling musicians of the early 2000’s. He was discovered by Dr. Dre who eventually signed Eminem to his record label, Aftermath Entertainment. Eminem is considered one the top selling rap artists of all time.

I have added the song Lose Yourself below, I think it’s great and hope everyone else does too. I’ve also added a link to two sites that between them list Eminems album released and unreleased. Further down I have also added Sing for the Moment which is an absolute treasure. Anyone wanting to leave comments on our blog, please feel free to do so.

  1. Whoo Hoo, I LOVE this man. I love everything about him, his voice, his music, his way of expressing his feelings and thoughts. Hes a true perfectionist. He will stay for hours in the recording studios, until hes got his songs exactly the way he wants them. Even if just one word has to be said in a certain manner, he will keep going over and over it, till hes totally satisfied.

    I recently read his book Angry Blonde. This man had absolutely nothing when he was a child, his mother didnt give him a very good up bringing either. But despite all that, hes achieved it all. Hes giving his daughters the things that he could never have.

    Although some of his words are harsh and some people think hes a bad influence on our children (my son has all his cds), I personally disagree. Like he says in his song ‘Who Knew’ …… I just said it – I ain’t know if you’d do it or not!!!!! :)

  2. A friend of mine always listens to Eminem CDs in the car. It’s not my choice of music but every so often there’s a song that surprises me and I like.
