Eminem / Slim Shady was born as Marshall Bruce MathersIII on October 17th 1972. When he was 14 he was in a group called Soul Intent under the pen name, “M&M”.

He has won an Oscar and multiple Grammy Awards.

Eminem is one the highest selling musicians of the early 2000’s. He was discovered by Dr. Dre who eventually signed Eminem to his record label, Aftermath Entertainment. Eminem is considered one the top selling rap artists of all time.

I have added the song Lose Yourself below, I think it’s great and hope everyone else does too. I’ve also added a link to two sites that between them list Eminems album released and unreleased. Further down I have also added Sing for the Moment which is an absolute treasure. Anyone wanting to leave comments on our blog, please feel free to do so.

Foals from Oxford appeared across screens in the UK with the hit  “Hummer” on Skins on E4. Foals are a five person Dance & rock band currently living  in Brighton. Yannis Philippakis vocals and guitar, Edwin Congreave keyboard, Walter Gervers bass, Jimmy Smith guitar and Jack Bevan drums.

They named their band Foals. Greek term is “little lover of horses” . “I like Foals because it’s a nice word and it doesn’t give away what the band is about,” Yannis explains. “It sounds fresh and new.”

“They’re meant to sound like insects,” says Yannis. “They’re played high on the fret board – we even hold our instruments up high. The result sounds like a cloud of insects forming these strange harmonies.”

In my own words i think its great music to party too :]

Hi Alanna, it’s Katie’s mum here. I read the comment you left on your mum’s House and thought I’d oblige you by putting Pink on our blog. I’ve also added some info about Pinks rise to stardum and a link to her fan club. Hope you like it.

    All the best Cindie

Pink was born as Alecia Beth Moore in Doylestown, Pennsylvania on September 8th 1979. When Pink was fourteen she started performing in clubs in Philadelphia. Pink has been a backing vocalist for people such as… Diana Ross, Kenny Lattimore, Tevin Cambell and 98 degrees. She has also been in a few bands, a trio band named Choice, which disbanded after recording an unreleased album, Basic Instinct which she felt it wasn’t for her, but by that time anyway she was on to bigger and better things as a solo artist. I have inserted a link below courtesy of “You Tube” with the song Misery sung with Steven Tyler, I think it’s fantastic! I’ve also included a link to Pink’s site, check it out. She writes about her experience in Cardiff amongst other things and it also has dates of her next tours, where to get tickets and loads more.
